A day in the life of an Industrial Project Manager
Morning
Check emails to understand project status for the day ahead
Mid-morning
Meeting with project teams covering factories, purchasing, marketing and quality
Noon
Update of project deliverables including planning, budget, risk analysis, impact analysis
After lunch
Internal team meeting
Afternoon
Define/update testing strategy with support from the testing team. Anticipate problems with checking that all testing means defined within the testing strategy will be available on time.
Mid-Afternoon
Project meeting with suppliers
End of day
Update the action plan and send emails for return the next day
