Design and deliver next-gen features
Naturally curious, you love to learn about what makes things work. You’re detail-oriented with the ability to accommodate different needs and requests (often at the same time) to deliver the bigger picture.
Managing complex projects is where you truly thrive, working alongside colleagues with diverse skillsets, because you know how to lead, coordinate and motivate people towards a common goal: delivering quality products that meet the user needs, on time and within budgets.
Expleo’s embedded systems engineering team designs and delivers:

Scalable and centralised electrical/electronic architecture

Nanosatellite avionic system

Hybrid & electric vehicle battery system

High-capacity rail signalling system (CBTC & ETCS)

Fuel-efficient aircraft engine control system (FADEC)

Android Automotive OS-based infotainment system

Autonomous naval inertial navigation system

ADAS & Autonomous driving system

As an embedded systems engineer, it's very exciting to work within a multi-cultural environment.

A day in the life of an Expleo Embedded Systems Engineer
Morning
Call with client and other stakeholders to establish where the project is at and what’s next.
Mid-morning
Meeting with the current client project’s Product Owner to review updates of all specifications. Generally, a Q&A session helps ensure everything is covered, from security to design to customer matters.
After lunch
Focus on a specific problem or new need. Update specification and system architecture models to cover new requirements, share it with the team and answer their questions.
Afternoon
Define/update testing strategy with support from the testing team. Anticipate problems with checking that all testing means defined within the testing strategy will be available on time.
Mid-Afternoon
Meeting with the supplier to be sure that everything is OK and there are no delays for delivery.
End of day
Check in with the team to make sure to identify any challenges and ensure they have the support to move forwards.
