When did you join Expleo?

Why did you choose to join Expleo?
I spent three years working in the field with various clients as an automation engineer in industrial design offices. One of the main challenges I faced was the lack of standardisation. So, I took the initiative to create my own automation standard. One day, Expleo contacted me with an unmissable career opportunity: to work as an automation project pilot at the automotive giant Stellantis, while implementing the true automation standard.
How was your first day at Expleo?
Everything went very well because I already had experience as a special machine integrator in the automotive sector. I was responsible for studies, design, and machine control, as well as diagnosing programs and faults. When I joined Expleo as an automation pilot, the transition was smooth, as I’m now managing integrators and fully understand the job requirements.
What do you do day-to-day at Expleo?
In short: my days at Expleo involve reviewing suppliers’ technical proposals to ensure they meet our automation objectives. I then guide them towards simple and unique solutions. Finally, I manage suppliers from the study phase to the final project delivery.
What do you like most about your job?
I like meeting diverse people and cultures, also knowing that I’m contributing to the success of the company and brand and, of course, my daily routine is far from monotonous.
Can you describe a particularly rewarding project, your biggest challenge, or a major achievement you've had while working at Expleo?
One of my greatest challenges, as well as one of the most rewarding projects I’ve worked on, was the creation of a battery workshop for Stellantis France. I played a key role from the supplier alignment phase, ensuring the implementation of suitable technical solutions while gaining expertise in new technologies and integrating innovative approaches. I believe I was among the first to participate in and help launch battery workshops. Currently, I’m in the process of launching the second battery workshop, with two more to follow in Spain.
Knowing that my work contributes to the advancement of electric vehicle development in the automotive industry is incredibly fulfilling. This project marks a significant step toward more sustainable mobility by reducing the carbon footprint and supporting the growing demands for energy transition and environmental preservation.
How did Expleo help you grow your career?
When I joined Expleo, I quickly had the opportunity to take on more responsibilities by contributing to various strategic projects. With the support and tools provided by Expleo, I developed my skills in project management, team coordination, and process optimisation. This experience allowed me to grow both technically and managerially, preparing me to take on new challenges with confidence.
