How was your first day at Expleo?
My first day was great. I was given plenty of onboarding tasks and got stuck in. I spent time understanding the company ethos and the organisational structure. My team were very welcoming which made me feel comfortable.
What’s a typical day in the life of a Cyber Project Manager like?
I have a range of projects under my belt. I start the day by checking all my emails and then I start with any administrative tasks on my list. Each morning the capability leads meet with their teams to discuss the day ahead and I float between the different meetings to stay informed and maintain a sense of community when working remotely. The rest of the day is usually a selection of meetings and other general management and business development tasks to keep me busy.
What about Expleo do you enjoy the most?
I really enjoy working for such a large organisation and being part of the bigger picture. There is so much going on and we are always updated with new initiatives and other exciting events or global changes.
What do you like most about your job?
I love Project Management because I like being organised and I love working with people. It’s challenging, but that gives me a sense of pride that I have achieved something every day.
How did Expleo help you grow your career?
Expleo provided me with a platform to elevate my career. I came from a SASS background so moving into Cyber was a change, but I love learning and it has provided me with such a great opportunity to expand my skill set and gain confidence in working in a new industry.
Do you think Expleo is a great place to work and if so why?
Yes, Expleo is a great place to work. It places importance on training and development and provides lots of opportunities to learn and grow as a person.
