Breaking Barriers: Tia\u2019s journey at Expleo and her mission for women@expleo<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

For Tia, breaking into the industry wasn\u2019t about proving a point – it was about following her passion in an environment where gender didn\u2019t define possibilities. Raised in a strong female-led household, Tia was always encouraged to pursue any career she wanted. There was no distinction between “male” or “female” industries\u2014just opportunity and ambition.<\/p>

“I was brought up to believe I could do anything I wanted. Maybe I was naive, but I never saw barriers between what men and women could do,”<\/em> she reflects.<\/p>

With that mindset, Tia pursued a degree in management, equipping herself with the skills to navigate the corporate world. But it was only when she joined Expleo that she truly found her place, her passion, and her community.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Finding purpose beyond the role<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

At Expleo, Tia wasn\u2019t just another employee – she was part of something bigger. Early in her career, she was approached by Priya and Ashley to join the women@expleo community, an initiative designed to foster inclusivity, support women, and drive meaningful change in the workplace.<\/p>

“Of course, I jumped at the opportunity,”<\/em> Tia says. “From the moment I got involved, I knew this was something special. Priya had already built an incredible foundation, and together, we worked on creating a structured strategy for the future.”<\/em><\/p>

With defined KPIs, governance, and a clear vision, women@expleo became more than just an initiative\u2014it became a movement.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Building a thriving community<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

What started in 2022 with just ten members has since grown into a thriving network of over 80 members – and it\u2019s still growing every week.<\/p>

“With every event we host, more people want to join, bringing new ideas and fresh perspectives,”<\/em> Tia shares. “We\u2019ve built a core team of ten people across different business areas, working together to make this community a real force for change.”<\/em><\/p>

Through lunch-and-learns, speaker events, podcasts\u00a0, and informal networking sessions, women@expleo provides a safe space for employees to connect, share experiences, and develop professionally.<\/p>

“We come together not just as colleagues, but as allies\u2014supporting and empowering one another to thrive.”<\/em><\/p>

The mission is clear: To create equal opportunities for women, encourage career progression, and bridge the gender gap in leadership.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Expleo is committed to increasing female representation to 35% by 2030, and the women@expleo community plays a critical role in achieving that goal.<\/p>

\u00a0“We\u2019re not just focused on getting women into leadership roles\u2014we\u2019re equipping them with the skills, support, and confidence to get there.” <\/em>Tia explains. \u00a0\u201cAdditionally, a crucial part of our vision is to create an environment where women feel empowered to take initiative, build their confidence, and earn respect. Looking ahead, we envision a future where women lead with strength and inspire the next generation.\u201d<\/em><\/p>

And as for her own future?<\/p>

“I love working at Expleo. I love the community, the people, and the impact we\u2019re making with women@expleo. I plan to keep being a key part of this initiative\u2014and one day, I hope to be one of those women in a leadership role, helping shape the future for the next generation.”<\/em><\/p>

At Expleo, Tia isn\u2019t just growing her career\u2014she\u2019s paving the way for others to do the same.<\/p>
