Can you tell us about your background and what led you to pursue a career in STEM? <\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

After finishing my studies in Business Informatics in my home country, I decided to <\/span>dive into the <\/span>world of technology and pursue a <\/span>master\u2019s degree in Computing<\/span> – Internet Technology and Security. That opened a whole new world of opportunities for <\/span>me and<\/span> made this journey even more exciting. I was still unsure of what career path to <\/span>follow when I was given the opportunity to<\/span> join <\/span>Expleo<\/span> as a graduate<\/span>.<\/span> After exploring <\/span>a<\/span> few of the <\/span>options<\/span> Expleo<\/span> offered me<\/span> as part of the graduate scheme<\/span>, I <\/span>have <\/span>now settled<\/span> in<\/span>to<\/span> my career as a QA Analyst.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

What has been your biggest challenge as a woman in STEM? <\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The STEM world can often be perceived as very male-dominated. It is not to say that it is not true, but I have found myself some brilliant female mentors, inside and outside of work, that have given me valuable advice to face any challenges that I might come across.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

At times, as a woman and an immigrant, you do feel like an outsider. However, the environment at Expleo is welcoming and inclusive.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

What attracted you to join Expleo, and how has your experience been so far? <\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

I came across Expleo while I was looking for jobs after finishing my master\u2019s degree. The graduate scheme seemed like the perfect opportunity for me to start my career. The application process was quick and straightforward \u2013 I applied, attended the assessment centre shortly after, and received an offer within a week. What stood out at Expleo\u2019s assessment day was the diversity of the group \u2013 people from so many different backgrounds and cultures.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

So far, my experience has been very positive. I\u2019ve had great training opportunities, interesting placements in different industries, and a lot of support to develop my skills and progress in my career.<\/span>\u202f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Expleo<\/span> offers continuous training opportunities, which have been essential for my professional development. Along the way, I have been able to attend training courses and gain valuable certifications<\/span>. I have also been exposed to working in different industries, with different clients and project<\/span>,<\/span> which have given me exposure to <\/span>new technologies<\/span> and ways of working. <\/span>Expleo<\/span> has always given me the flexibility to explore, try <\/span>different roles<\/span>,<\/span> and supported me to grow and progress.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Can you describe a particularly rewarding project or achievement you've had while working at Expleo? <\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Last year, I worked on a brand-new client project, starting right from the proof-of-concept phase. I was part of the team that delivered the initial work and presented it to the client. When the project was approved, it felt like a big win for everyone.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

At first, it was just a small team of three, and I was responsible for all the manual testing. This role gave me great exposure to client interactions and a sense of responsibility, even at an early stage in my career. By the time I left the project, the team had grown to seven people. It was rewarding to see how our work had developed and to have played such an important role in its success.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

How would you describe the company culture at Expleo, particularly in terms of inclusivity and support for women in STEM? <\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Expleo has a diverse and inclusive culture. <\/span>Just walking into the office, you can see people from all kinds of backgrounds.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

There are also great examples of strong female leaders at Expleo, which is inspiring.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Reflecting on my experience up to this point, I would like to continue working in different market sectors, gaining new skills and potentially taking on leadership positions.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Anything that men can do, women can do it too \u2013 sometimes even better! My advice would be to trust in yourself and take the first step.
