How was your first day at Expleo? <\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Seamless<\/span>. I went to the office, and we had our induction, which really delved into the details of the business. I also got my laptop, my phone, and everything else that I needed. My login worked perfectly, so it was a beautiful surprise and something I <\/span>hadn’t<\/span> experienced before<\/span>, so it was seamless.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

What\u2019s a typical day in the life of a a Change Manager like? <\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Typically, at the start of the day, I would have a stand-up with my clients, where we come together and talk about what we’re doing for the day and week ahead. I also have weekly change management service and leadership team meetings.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

I\u2019m also building out the change management service in Ireland. I have regular meetings and catch-ups where we come together to do that. In the afternoon, I generally get stuck into client work and conduct workshops and planning. Before the end of the day, I\u2019d generally go out to the client site or keep working from home. At the end of the day, I do some cost planning and map out what I need to do for the next day.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Once a month, I go to the office to connect with my team and colleagues and come together as a change management team. Everybody is collaborating, working together, and sharing stories.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The culture, the leadership, the <\/span>engagement<\/span> and the opportunities that <\/span>h<\/span>ave <\/span>been provided <\/span>to <\/span>me so fa<\/span>r.<\/span> I<\/span>‘ve<\/span> been given a lot of support to explore different opportunities within <\/span>Expleo<\/span> by <\/span>lead<\/span>ing and developing<\/span> training courses<\/span> and<\/span> working on tenders. I also enjoy <\/span>the variety of <\/span>projects<\/span>,<\/span> a<\/span>nd <\/span>I appreciate <\/span>the trust <\/span>I have <\/span>from the leadership team<\/span>.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

What I <\/span>truly enjoy<\/span> as a <\/span>Change<\/span> Manager is getting into the detail <\/span>about<\/span> how to support people <\/span>in <\/span>adopting change<\/span> and <\/span>explorin<\/span>g <\/span>the<\/span> differen<\/span>t way<\/span>s<\/span> of working, engaging, and communicating. That excites me<\/span> as well as <\/span>working side<\/span>–<\/span>by<\/span>–<\/span>side with the client and trying to understand how they work, what their landscape is and mapping out how we can get our <\/span>pro<\/span>gra<\/span>mmes<\/span> across the line.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Expleo<\/span> helped me develop my skills <\/span>through<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Expleo<\/span><\/span><\/span> Academy<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a>, something that I <\/span>didn’t<\/span> think<\/span> I would do or enjoy<\/span>,<\/span> but <\/span>I<\/span> fo<\/span>und it<\/span> engaging<\/span>. <\/span>We’ve<\/span> been given ownership to deliver the change management fundamentals course, working with Learning & Development in South Africa, the Netherlands, and the UK. This is something <\/span>I’ve<\/span> explored over the last 12 months, and I <\/span>didn’t<\/span> think I would be able to do something like this, and <\/span>I’ve<\/span> been given a lot of guidance and <\/span>assistance<\/span> to build confidence in doing that.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Do you think Expleo is a great place to work and if so why? <\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Yes, I do think it’s a great place to work, with a good culture and I think the people play a significant part in that. The Irish team works hard to create a great sense of camaraderie and community, and I think you really need that when you’re working with a client. The Expleo community in Ireland is strong and that’s something that I really value.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
