I am part of the HR team within Talent Acquisition, supporting recruitment across Switzerland, Ireland and South Africa. My role focuses on creating a smooth and professional experience for both candidates and internal stakeholders.

I assist with sourcing and screening talent, coordinating interviews, preparing candidate documentation and ensuring candidate and employee profiles are accurately maintained.

What has been your most exciting project?

One of my most exciting projects has been sourcing talent for Business Analyst and Software Quality Engineer roles. It has allowed me to connect with candidates from different technical backgrounds and parts of the world.

Through these interactions, I have gained a deeper understanding of the technology landscape, the skills in demand and the different career paths within these roles.

What challenges have you faced, and how did you overcome them?

One challenge has been dealing with candidates who communicate in a rude or unprofessional manner. I have learned to stay calm, remain polite and focus on the process without taking the behaviour personally.

This has helped me maintain professionalism while ensuring a positive candidate experience.

What is it like experiencing your first corporate job

Experiencing my first corporate job has been both exciting and eye-opening. I am learning something new every day and growing both professionally and personally.

The experience has given me the opportunity to take on real responsibilities, work with people across different regions and build a strong foundation for my career.

Any advice for future interns at Expleo?

Be curious, ask questions and take every opportunity to learn. Stay organised, communicate professionally and do not be afraid to step outside your comfort zone.

Expleo has great people who are willing to support you, so make the most of the experience and always give your best.

How has this internship helped you grow professionally?

This internship has strengthened my confidence, improved my communication skills and exposed me to real HR and Talent Acquisition processes across different regions.

I have become more organised and adaptable and have developed greater confidence in handling responsibility, preparing me for the next steps in my career.
